bald eagles on the blackstone river

I finally got a glimpse of the majestic bald eagles that I’d heard made their way to Providence recently. I only saw the adult with the characteristic white head for a brief moment, but it was still very impressive to see in person. A brown-colored juvenile spent some time standing on the icy river, so I got a few good shots of him, but it was very far away so I’m certainly not satisfied… I’ll try again for closer pictures sometime soon.
